Newbie-Question
ALright I am really sorry because I know you guys get this all the time. Now I know a little about this and I am 17 and trying to turbo the CRX on a budget like everyone else on this site. Anyways I have a 91 dx with 103,000. It has MPFI and I want to run around 8 PSI. I have a T-25 and I understand I have to lengthen the actuator arm to run 8 off a DSM turbo. I want to know how to do that. My kit includes 1g SMIC, HF manifold, 1g BOV, and T-25. Im custom making the charge pipes and down pipe. I want to know that I need to run 8 PSI. I don't understand anything about fuel management and hope explain good parts and timing retard. If someone could make a list of parts and prices off the recommended parts I would greatly appreciate it. Once again sorry for asking but need to find out from someone. Thanks
That helps a little bit, so if i want to run anywhere from 7-8 psi can i just buy a rising regulator. Also where does the brass T fitting go behind the block. Thanks again. Also I've heard but don't believe a DOHC ZC can handle 10 psi with stock internals and run a long time. Once again I don't have money for a B-series so trying to work with what I got.
just take your time! you sounded just like me when i started to think about turboing my car. just keep on this site for a while and look at faq's, tech write ups, and look at other peoples setups for good ideas. This site is kickass and noone bashes you for any of the questions you have.....most of the time. All around good people on here
