NEWBIE!!! needs help

ok i know nothing about turbos except the basics...i drive a EK civic hatch (d16y7)...

now i am realizing that it will be a long time for me to get 4,000-5,000 for just a swap...

now i want to turbo my hatch w/out a pre-made kit like Drag or RevHard because i have also heard that it is cheaper to build your own custom kit.

can someone please help me and give me a good price on how much it would cost for a complete custom turbo system...

Its all in good shopping, with good resources... Btw, we do all our fab work ourselves, so if you dont have a welder it will be more.
