NEW TURBO IDEA?
aye wassup guys...well ive been wondering about this for the past...uhh...just a long time. y dont people or is it even possible to run the turbo after the header (with a custom flange of course). wont the turbo receive the full exhaust flow, thus optimizing the use of usable air flow? i dont know..maybe im missing something. the turbo would be close to the ground, but with some customization-create a protection device or even inclose it....i need all u turbo techs to enlighten me with this setup....thanks for your help
I am not all into the turbo thery yet... Nore don't know everything i should no... But if you did that you would have turbo lag... Because the exhaust gases take a while to spool the turbo etc... Also then you would need to make the exhaust for the turbo as well.
I don't see what the point of it would be. Save money on a turbo manifold? What are you trying to save by doing this? You would need a pump for the oil return and your turbo would be dangerously close to the ground. Why would you want this?
