Default NEW TURBO IDEA?

aye wassup guys...well ive been wondering about this for the past...uhh...just a long time. y dont people or is it even possible to run the turbo after the header (with a custom flange of course). wont the turbo receive the full exhaust flow, thus optimizing the use of usable air flow? i dont know..maybe im missing something. the turbo would be close to the ground, but with some customization-create a protection device or even inclose it....i need all u turbo techs to enlighten me with this setup....thanks for your help

I am not all into the turbo thery yet... Nore don't know everything i should no... But if you did that you would have turbo lag... Because the exhaust gases take a while to spool the turbo etc... Also then you would need to make the exhaust for the turbo as well.

Oil return line? turbo overheating? NO PROBLEM!
all you need to do is chop of the head flange, reverse it, weld a turbo flange, and cut a hole in the hood. voila.

i don't think running the turbo so close to the ground is a good idea... speed bumps or something might kill it

I don't see what the point of it would be. Save money on a turbo manifold? What are you trying to save by doing this? You would need a pump for the oil return and your turbo would be dangerously close to the ground. Why would you want this?
