new turbo
i just got my turbo in the mail and the guy i got it from said he didn't think it was a t3 (i thought it was, so i got it), he also said it was oil cooled, but it has two extra holes so i assume it's oil and water, right? does it matter which water hole is in and out? also .43/.67 are one of the measurements for a t3 right? and is this too small for a b18a?

Re:new turbo
those trim measurements could be for any turbo.

Re:new turbo
o.k., well it is a garrett and it has the rectangular manifold flange and five bolt exhaust flange, so i assume it's a t3. now for the other questions???

Re:new turbo
It doesn't matter which water hole is in or out, either way is ok.
Be sure though to mount the turbo so that the oil flows from top to bottom. Pieter |
Re:new turbo

Re:new turbo
use regular fittings whos cares....never heard of a t3 with those numbers
|
Re:new turbo
correction, it's .48/.67, it's a garrett and it has a t3 flange??? do you know what size fittings i will need or are they all different?
|
Re:new turbo
size fittings for what? oil inlet? thats normally 1/8th on all t3's and the oil return will be a standard t3 return flange. Pretty common stuff.

Re:new turbo
na, i was talking about the water fittings
