new to the site

Sup everyone. I've been browsing these boards for about a year now gradually increasing my knowledge on turbocharging and making my own kit. I just recently put one together and was hoping you guys could give me some input on what you think about my setup.

t3/t4 turbonetics turbo, wastegate and manifold
vortech bov
s-afc
450cc injectors
6" FMIC
autometer boost gauge
all necessary piping, vacuum hoses, oil lines and fittings

This is going on a 93 d16z6. I was hoping to boost with an afc hack at around 8-10psi and shoot for about 175whp. What do you guys think?

Sounds decent man. What's the AR on the turbo?

how about some pictures? i would run uberdata vs the hack. with the size of that turbo at 10 lbs i would shoot for atleast 200 ;) oh and welcome to HMT! dont ask stupid questions

T3/T4 might be a bit big for your likings if you're only shooting for 175 whp. What's the ar on the turbo?

I also agree, i think u should consider uberdata instead of the hack.

I'll get some pictures up as soon as I can figure out how to host them. I'm not sure about the ar on the turbo, is there an easy way to measure it? (sorry im new to turbocharging) I want to run either uberdata or the hack, but I thought that the hack would be alot easier so thats the way I was going to go. If I can find someone in my area that can chip my ecu for uberdata and tune for relatively cheap, I'll do that. As for the 175 whp, I was being very conservative about that number and 200 was more what I was thinking. ;)

Go Uberdata. http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum/
If you can live without the car a few days you can ship your ECU of to get it chipped before your turbo.
They can burn a map with stock bin file for N/A. You won't know the difference.
They could also also burn a baseline boost map to get you to the tuners or you can get a wideband and tune it yourself. The're Uber "Tuners" in the Seattle Area
