Aluminum wire is definately a pain in the ass, though because its soooooo soft, it's best to use a spool gun for aluminum wire.

lol no ----.

NATIONAL MUFFLER IN MILWAUKEE MADE THIS. Just wanted to give them a well deserved vouch. 8)

Thanks for the replies guys. He told me he gave me a great deal on it, and that's why i'd have to pay for them to fix it.????WTF

I wish I would have gotten a close up of those bends. They were scratched pretty bad from the bending and were also squashed when they were bent (making the overall diameter MUCH flatter) for the 2.5"

ALso they should have re-flared the top and not used that brown piece. Instead they were too damn lazy and just welded some half ass 2" or less (notice the ID of the pipe inside) on AND DIDN"T EVEN ------- TELL ME. Instead they told me it'd be 2.25 and they didn't think I'd notice.

But I did. Then I showed it to him i said that's not even 2". He said ohh it's 2".

That O2 bung needs to be moved as well. It's too far down and im throwing a code and not getting any readings from the O2 sensor.

THEY SHOULD HAVE RE-FLARED THE END

I wanted 2.5" , I got 2" and the fag never told me till i found out myself. I told him and he said HE KNEW IT, and then now he wants me to pay for it to get fixed. He also said i need a slim fan now too because that's why he couldn't do it. 60 more down the drain.

Yeah I do know dynomax! He's a good guy and i've talked to him down at the HWY. Yeah he was telling me about that midas. ---- i forgot.

I should have gone there but i didn't think midas did mandrel bends(I should have bought my own). But where did he get is piping from?

National Muffler did this by the way so make sure you let all of your friends know of their quality work :)

That makes me angry. >:(

I would ------- flip out if they did that to me. I think I am going to go buy a welder and learn how to weld now.

Good luck with your downpipe.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the responses.
Thanks for the support!

ALso, on a side note the cars hauling ass.
93 octane, 2 step colder plugs, timing retarded, and a rich setting. @ 9psi and 50% throttle on a stock D16z6 this car hauls ass! (im installing my clutch this weened so im still on the stocker which explains the 50% throttle :) )

I couldn't have done it w/o your help!

ALSO! on a side note that i forgot to tell you guys....
Idk if this matters but HE DIDN"T DO THE WORK>

ONE OF HIS WORKERS DID THE WORK AND FUCKED UP. NOT HIM. He didn't even know what was going on.

At first he said he could do 2.5 all the way back for $170. THen after his worker got started he said they could only do 2.25. Not wanting to be an ass I said "fine. THen when it was done they put on 2"!!! i was soo angry.

If National Muffler is a chain store I would call their head office and complain. Worked for me on Midas.
