Default New here and some questions

I'm new here
I'm from The Netherlands.

I found this site through google.com when I was searching for some usefull turbo info
I read a lot on this forum so it's now time for me te register because I have a couple of questions.

My car is a Volkswagen Corrado 2.0L 16V (9A)

Now I have rebuilt the engine and installed a K04 turbo.
My first K04 turbo was dead within a 800miles. The second was also dead within 300miles. (bad luck I guess)
So I ditched the K04'S and go buy myself a Garrett GT28R.

My question for you guys is

1) do I need to use a oilristrictor?
2) I'm going to install a oilpressure gauge. May I use a y-splitter of my oilhousing? One for feeding the turbo and one for the oilpressure gauge?

Found this one at atpturbo.com

Maybe is this one usefull for my oilpressure gauge?

1. From what I've read, most people that use a -3AN oil feed line did not have to use an oil restrictor. If you are using a -4AN oil feed line, you might have to use an oil restrictor. Also, make sure the return line to the oil pan is at least half inch in diameter.

2. Yes you can use a Y-splitter for the oil pressure guage off the oil housing. I would install the Y-splitter close to where the oil feed line connects to the turbo.
