do u guys think this is good for 5-8 psi?

 

I would look into chipping your ECU and running uberdata with some DSM 450cc injectors. The FMU and stock injectors will work, but I wouldn't want to run is much over 5 psi. I would also get a bigger turbo if you can. I have a d16z6 and am running a T3 60 trim .60/.48 and love it. The top end power is awesome. Bill (chevy) is also running the same turbo and he will also tell you the top end power is defintely worth a little more lag. Having a good free flowing exhaust (3 inch) and a good clutch are also very important.

You listed custom IC pipes but you did not list the type of intercooler. If you haven't decided yet, a DSM side mount IC is good for a start. You can get one very cheap. I paid $15.00 for mine. If you have the money you can buy a FMIC. Johnnyracecar has a 30x5x2 for $155.00 on ebay. Based on your preference, Custom Coach (CCA) also sell intercoolers.

i would chip my ecu but then im on a budget.15 bucks for a dsm ic, ---- thats cheap..but 150 for the johnnyracer ic, i'll pick that up.
