Need input on supercharged teg

Hey guys i am new. Friend of mine sent me a link to this site that u guys are really cool. But anyhow i have some issues. Right now i have a 94 Integra LS with the b18b. I have the Jackson Racing Supercharger on it pushing 5 pounds of boost. Also have a Thermal cat-back exhaust, centerforce clutch, msd 8.5mm wires. Right now i am running very rich. Also i am running rich under boost as well. I have been trying to play with the FMU but nothing has worked. I have the a/f ratio gauge to kind of give me a idea of whats going on but doesnt help too much. Um i think thats about all i can say but it just sucks. I am not very happy with the whole set up right now. If ur curious of how many miles are on the motor and ect. its only got about 22k on it cause i just bought it cause i sold my old motor that came in the car which had 144K on it. But any questions or opinions would be awesome at this time. Thanks Chris

Chris, welcome to the forums.

Are you dead set on keeping that supercharger with your car? I would just pull it off and go turbo, only superchargers that really hold their own would be roots style blowers and maybe a factory bolt on upgrade whipple charger to give mild power to domestics.

If you bought this as a kit then it should have come preset? I really don't have any experience with jackson superchargers but I assumed they had a linear control of the fuel. Was this a piece together kit or a whole set?

If you can reduce the FMU's ratio maybe it should help, but you already tried.
I would suggest some better fuel management. 450cc injectors and using an S-AFC should do the job, or you can chip your ecu or get one cheap from e-bay and get it chipped. You would need some 450cc injectors and you can ditch the fmu. IMO a supercharger like jackson racing needs a lot of midifcation to give some decent power and an intercooler would help it alot.
I would go turbo though, but you got some options with the supercharger, but don't expect major power without spending a lot of extra money.

uhm, Jackson is a roots style isn't it? Vortec = cintrifigal (sp)?

anyways! If you are confident w/ fuel/timing settings I would go Uberdata. its like a free Hondata. Check out the engine management forum for more details.

yes it was a whole kit. Id like to do turbo but i dont think my mom would allow this to happen. Everyone has been saying get a s-afc pretty much so far so i think thats my next purchase as of right now. Yes id like to do some engine managment. The guy who put it on for me is running the AEM EMS in his civic but is thinking of buying the software for hondata. Also on the intercooler thing. We had a discussion about this last night. I duno how that would work? I am running a short ram iceman intake with a K&N filter i forgot to mention that in my first post. But how would u hook up a intercooler to it??

i believe that the setup you have builds the supercharger into the intake manifold. i dont think you can use an intercooler.
