need to rotate the center section becouse the oil drain points up and the charge side outlet points right at the block ... i have the exhaust side off of the turbo... can i just leave the center section and compressor side attached and just rotate the whole thing ?? or do i have to do something different ?? i read the write up on rotating the t3 but mine is quite a bit different ...thanks alot

 

nobody i mean obviously the wastegate wont line up but that doesnt matter we'll be running a external w/g

 

You can rotate either section independently.

 

lol i think he means how do you do it. im looking for the same thing with my turbo, the compressor outlet points almost straight up and ive looked but it doesn't look like there is an obvious way of turning it. i would really like to know what to do also.

 

no i got the exhuast housing off just loose'n the exhaust side bolts hold the exhaust side and hit down on the charge with a RUBBER mallet .. comes apart after a few strong taps
