Need help or suggestion.. I'm fuking pumped out of ideas
 

Hi guys,

Really need some help with this. I have ran out of ideas totally and feeling demoralized with my turbo project :( .. I have bought some "tank truck hoses" as my intercooler piping. The major problem I face now is that I need the cooler hoses to reduce from a 3inch size to a 1.75inch... I know there are lots of silicon reducer out there.. but the problem is, I have to ship them from the U.S to Asia which is such a hassle. What's worst is such reducer is unknow in my country (this country sucks balls!!!)

I'm seeking help from anyone who has other great ideas on how I can achieve the required sizing besides using them silicon reducer.

Go to a scrap yard and find some smaller pipes of another turbo car.

yeah, i guess as much if there isn't any other way around it.. bought them stupid hoses for 100 bucks, guess its going down the drain..

I have used a exhaust reducer before. Cheap and easy to find.

Edit I have also used pvc in the past :6

Assuming the reducer is going to be attached to your TB... right? If so, just use a ---- load of electrical tape or something else. Just wrap it up til it reaches your required height and clamp that bitch lol... no seriously I like the idea of using an exhaust reducer.

use and exhaust reducer or just make your own. take the 3" pipe and cut 2" long slits in it, then squeeze it closed and weld up the slits. sometimes you have to cut wedges out of the pipe rather than slits. it depends on how far you have to go.

for me, thats the fun of it. coming up with ideas to solve problems. the more parts i can make the better

haha.. i think I just found a great idea.. Was on the bus thinking of many ways on how to replace those silicon reducer and this came up.. Using 2L coke bottles!! hahaha.. the mouth piece is about 1.5inch and the diameter of the whole coke bottle is about 3ish inch there about.. All i have to do is to cut the coke bottle shorter to use as a coupler.. Furthermore after many research, a 2L coke bottle can hold up to 75psi :D

what do you think of this idea?!?! hahaha..

Give it a go that would be the most gangster clear boost pipe ever, you could even leave the label on lol.
