ok so i took of my manifold to fix a leak in my welds and i fealt in the exost ports cuz there was watter on the manifold
how can i tell if its condensation or if i have to replace my head gasket

its condensation because any water put onto the mani would be burnt off. if you really want to test there's 3 ways first compression test, sencond leakdown test, and finally my favorite run the car to see if your shooting the white smoke... :6

are you shure cuz the car was cold and i started it for like 15 seconds before it got hot i took off the manifold and ther was watter in the exost ports of my head and when it got dry and i started it with the manifold off for a cuple of seconds and it was wet again

I whould say if your headgasket was leaking enough to get water in your manifold you whould see some coolant in your oil or oil in your coolant. Plus like said above it whould have burnt off. If you still dont believe us do the 3 test mentioned above.

oh i belive you guys i just want to make shure cuz i spent 180 on a new gasket and bolts today and im a dumb ass for not doing the tests first
i just asumed the worst but i will do some tests tomorow i think my budys dad whos a mechanic can help me out it i throw him a case or bottle
but i highely apreshate all the input and advice you guys are giving me (thanks)

thx guys i did some small tests and talked to my mechanic and we think my head gasket is fine ;D
saves me such a big head ache and ceaps my car on the road
but if it wasent for your advice i probaly would just start riping apart my block like a dub ass
