NEED HELP!!! FULLY BUILT LS VTEC TURBO SETUP!

I need help, I have the following below and I need to know if I should put it a blockguard or will I be fine? or will the blockguard do damage rather then good? Bottom is all assembled. I was told that I might need to insert a block guard? Also do they even make a blockguard for my app. 1.8L with 2.0L sleeves. Will it be okay as it is to make 20 psi and 450 whp max be daily at 12 psi? YES NO? advice help?

that block is purdy. choose your poison; some say that with a blockguard you run the risk of not enough coolant reaching the upper end of the cylinder, but if you post the block, some say you run the risk of putting extra stress on one point on the middle of the sleeve. I'd say with proper management you can run 20 psi on that thing all day long and 12 psi FOR SURE (just the way it is), but we'll see what other people have to say.

Just post your block. Search for Kyle's writeup, i think it'll help you out a lot! :-X

DISCLAIMER: I was just ------- around. In no way, shape, or form should you take any of kyle's writeups, or anything else he says, as anything but boosiiieeettt :P

get a good block guard, the ones that allow plenty of room for the coolant to pass through. better to be safe then sorry.

dude, its a sleeved block. there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to put a cheap ass block guard in there..

you got sleeves, dont worry about a block guard. 12psi is a piece of cake for those sleeves. th

okay just needed reinsurance that I wouldn't need a blockguard and it would be fine at 20 psi as I thought...
