Need Help ASAP. Problems with my HMT.

o.k I installed a HMT kit this weekend on my EF9 ZC. After alot of labor time installing it cause the kit was pre-maid and came off a EG civic ( 92' ) finally I get it running and when it was running it was breaking up a bit like I wasn't getting enough spark. Well after about 5 minutes the car just shut off and when I looked down at the ECU I noticed it was now throwing a code 15 ( ignition output signal cell ). After it shut off I tried to start it but everytime it started I had to give it gas to keep it running. Once I let go of the gas it would shut off. Now for now I'm running my timming just alittle bit retarded.. stock coil but 8MM wires for now. I just wanted to get the kit on for the time being. I have a MSD blaster coil but I'm waiting for the cap to come in the mail. Now I think I was having problems with my ignitor acouple of weeks prior but since I was using stock ZC injectors and still N/A it wasn't noticable but now I'm using 450cc injectors and using a bigger fuel pump it's not pushing enough spark to keep the car running. My friend is bring me a new distributer to day and we'll see if it helps and I'm trying to get a modified MSD Cap as fast as possible. What do you guys think ? Also I'm running DSM Blue top 450cc injectors and a inline fuel pump thats inline from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. I was told I could you can put it in the back or up front both ways will work. Thanks for any help I can get.

what are you using to control fuel? 450's without cutting any fuel you are probably running too rich and are fouling your plugs. pull and check them. you'll probably wash your cylinders and loose all compression if you aren't careful.

are you using the afc to control thae injectors?

Threshold.. the intank pump acts like a pusher for the inline.. you need the intank to feed it. The inline will pull the fuel through the stock pump once it gets going.

On to the problem.. It also sounds to me like the car is extremely rich. Much like what 680cc injectors run like with a stock computer. If you have an afc it needs adjusted.

Also I don't know much about the zc cars.. Do you already have a resistor box wired in?

Sorry I forgot... I'm using a AFC to control the injectors. I had it set at -30 % for idle ( 1K RPM ). Now my friend has a turbo B16 running 440cc injectors and he said he had to run it at -47 % at idle on his car and I know what the problem is basicly from the smell coming from the exhaust, looking at my A/F ratio gauge. that it's getting waaayyyy too much fuel. Now my friend is coming down today with a new distributer and I'm hoping I can get it running right until my modified distributer cap from MSD comes in. I'm hoping and thinking at my Dizzy was kind of messed up to begin with from the porblems I was having acouple of weeks prior during cold start ups like my ignitor was bad or something but because I had stock injectors and stuff it wasn't too noticabl but now I have the bigger injectors you can tell. Also about the pump I got a relay from a friend who works at a stereo install place and wired it up to the relay to it kicks on and runs off the factory power source for my stock pump.

definately trim more fuel out. you don't really need to upgrade the stock pump using the hack. i'm still running mine stock and it works just fine. if you are going to upgrade go with an intank.
