Default Need help answering eBay question re: turbo

I got a question regarding a turbo I have on eBay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT.
He asks "Dear mhorton4,

Does it feat CA18DET? Regards Max"

I did a search, it seems CA18DET is a type of Nissan motor. So he wants to know if this will fit? From what I read, it uses a T25, so the answer would be no without other parts/modifications, correct?
Thanks, I really need to sell this so I can buy a T3 .48/.60.

You answered your own question.

It needs a new plate / adapter plate for the flange.

That turbo will fit on the nissan motor.I have one of those mounted to my greddy manifold its not the standard T-3 flange its actually a T-25 or T-2 turbo. Its the standard bitch *** nissan flange aka greddy.

crxsi88, how sure are you about that? Now I have to change my description, and could be stuck with the stupid thing unless this guy buys it. The guy I bought it from said it was out of a nissan 200sx, I didn't know they had different flanges.

I am positive about it being from a nissan because that's what i took mine off of and it was exactly the same. It's a nissan t-25 turbo not a T-3. The bolt holes in the flange are off by about a 1/4" compared to a T-3.Just wanted to let you know so someone doesn't get pissed if they buy it from you thinking its a T-3.

Thanks for the heads-up. The last thing I want is to sell it to someone then have to refund him and be out even more money. I just wanted to be absolutely sure before changing it. (BTW, the was not directed at you, it was for the turbo being wrong since it was supposed to be a T3)

Since it is a T25 not T3, is the price still ok?
