Need help/advice on oil-feed to a mitsu 16g.
So far, I am not a fan of mitsubishi turbos. I just blew two DSM t25 turbos.
I blew the first one because I did not use a restricor (i think). I blew the second one within ten minutes and was using a restictor. Given that both turbo's had at least 100k on them, I dont think they should have gone so easily.
I am about to buy a brand new 16g. I don't want to screw this one up like the others. How much oil pressure do I need for a 16g? If anyone has any advice on safetly feeding oil to a turbo, please help me out. Thanks
-Justin
P.S. This is going onto a honda d16.

Chances are those turbos were fucked before you got them. You really shouldn't need a restrictor. Buy a decent turbo that doesn't have 3 billion miles of dirty oil abuse and you should be fine.
