Need help....
 

First of all I wanna say thanks for having me, since I'm new to the forum. I have a 91 Civic EX 4dr, right now it has the SI(d16a6) engine which I'm soon to be puttin'a z6 head on(mini-me). I have the turbo(TDO5H-14b), BOV, 450cc injectors, and side mount intercooler from a 90 Eagle Talon Tsi(5-speed). The turbo is both oil and water cooled, my question is, I know where my oil is coming from my block to go to the turbo, but what about the water cooling?? The guy I have helping my with this, says we can do away with the water lines and just run oil to the turbo, but I've heard this is only good like up to 6 psi, but I'm gonna run the 450's with a V-AFC hack which is good up to 10psi, sooo....
Just need to know where you guys run your water lines to and from? ANY help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Peaace..

Yes, you can run the turbo with out water cooling, but it will decrease the life of the turbo. As far as where to plumb into the system, is it possible to plumb it into the heater hoses? Or make a fitting on the thermostat housing and run water from there?

Its not that big of a deal to tap into your cooling system to run the lines for the turbo. I will try to descibe this as simple as possible.

under your throttle body, you have some coolant lines, they are about 5/16 thick, just grab one and cut one in half. Run one end of the line to one side of the turbo, and the other side to the other side of the turbo. This will make the coolant flow INLOOP, and it doesnt mater which way coolant flows through the turbo as long as it gets flow. Simple as that. 15mins of work will make your turbo very happy, ;)
