need help
yeah i just finish installing my turbo set up ion my 1997 acura ls....I have a garrette T3 turbo with 42 A/R with internal wastegate, front mount intercooler with all piping, greddy type-s BOV, custom 3inch downpipe....no fuel management at the moment...ecu will be chipp soon.... all vacuum lines and oil lines hooked up block/oilpan...everything seems to be install correctlly...my friend also install the check valves to the map sensor....we start the engine and let it warmed up....then slowly backed out and put it in first gear and gas slowly to see if the turbo worked..well the turbo spool pretty loud but the car doesn't go pass 3000rpm plus the other thing is that the car is blowing WHITE SMOKE....*** is my headgasket gone? or did i install the setup wrong....? this is my first time..so don't give me any ---- just adivce please....thanks
the engine is stock at this time...and plus no fuel management also....but the motor ran fine and strong that night before i install the setup...plus when the turbo spool i can't really feel any boost but i can hear the BOV.....HG?? ----...
I've been doing some reading on hmt.....i remeber that when i took off the oil feed line to check if oil was actually coming through my friend turn on the motor and it was fuking pissing out oil like crazy like a water hole.....can that be the cause of the smoke
? too much oil runing into the turbo
do i need a oil restrictor...i don't wanna *** with the head gasket if it isnt the problem...

well i started the car the next day and it was still smoking....hella bad..this ---- sucks man...that's why i wanna make sure it is the headgasket before i fukin replace it..when i turn on the car...after it warms up it starts to smoke..then if i drive it the turbo would spool and after i let go of the gas paddle a cloud of white smoke would come out....plus i cannot go pass 3000rpm...i'm not sure if i'm getting any boost but i can hear the bov.....weather was fine ....well
You should not have run boost until you had your fuel set up (big potential for catistrophic failure!!). If you want to really diagnose what happened, you need to do a leakdown test rather than a compression test.
Do you get bubbles in your radiator when you give gas? That is another headgasket symptom. ie. you have compression leaking out of the cyl into the rad.
