!!! NEED D series help! T3 wastegate actuator wont clear A/C bracket and block.

Damn, i just fit up my log style manifold and my T3 (.60/.48) and the damn wastegate wont clear the A/C bracket or the block(if the AC bracket were removed.
WHAT THE HELL DO I DO? I need this done by monday hopefully!. Also, which way does the compressor housing sit? I was trying to fit it up with the compressor housing on the driver's side and the exhaust on the passenger side, should I turn the thing around?? I could but it hits the other side too (not as bad though.)

----

Thanks for the replies

try to rotate the compressor housing. Try that to see if it helps. If not then i guess good bye A/C. ;D

LOL, a/c was never on the car :)

It's the ------- bracket. They use the thing as an engine supporter :( WTF?!

will it fit without the wastegate actuator? if it does, install the manifold and turbo and then get up under the car and see if you can manage to mount it in a slightly different configuration. i had to do this when i installed mine and after rotating the hell out of the different sections to get the oil feed and compressor outlet the way i wanted them. i got up under there and found a way to make it fit and then made an extension for the actuator arm to reach the wg arm...works like a champ.

good luck

sweet thanks a lot for the idea, im almost positive that will work. Does it matter if the exhaust housing is on the drivers side or the passenger side?
everything should flow the same and i dont see an problems. Does anyone know?

You can have the turbo either way.

If you cant get the stock actuator to work,
you will have to do the hmt style with a stretched spring.
The pressure from the exhaust against the flapper will push it open. Stretch the spring for more psi.

Another option is to unbolt the wastegate and get a threaded rod to extend the wastegate rod. then you can figure out another location to bolt it up.
