Default nedda know

i was wondering if anyone knew if the compressor housing of 57 trim turbos is smaller depending on manufacturers i have a generic t3/t4 xs power turbo and its not fitting with the drag mani and as much block as possible cut out on my gsr i need to know if the turbos in the drag kit are usually smaller or somthing so i know if its worth the cash to buy one before i drop more money on somthing that wont work

seriously... nobody on this turbo forum knows the answer to this or has put the two comp houses next to each other

the 57 trim referrs to the major and minor diameters of the compressor wheel. (it is the ratio between the two) It has nothing to do with the size of the housing. I think what you are referring to is the a/r. Even if it was drastically larger, it should still fit. Unless the kit was designed for a t3. Which way are you facing the compressor housing?

i have the compressor housing facing the passenger side towards the tranny to retain the ac ive tried clocking it and notching the block as far as possible did drag make different manifolds for there kits possibly?

thats most likely your problem. It probably has to face the drivers side. ---- ac, your downpipe will be alot easier to make anyway.
