n00bish IC question
Just wondering if anyone knew how much an intercooler actually cools the temperature? I know that the size will make a difference, along with if it's a SMIC or FMIC. Don't flame too bad. ;D

Re: n00bish IC question
There is a formula for figuring this out, if i find it i'll post it. It does depend on alot of variables, so you cant just say:
"this intercooler cools 20 degrees on all car setups, on all days...." |
Re: n00bish IC question
Yeah, I know that there are a ton of variables, so it's damn near impossible to say, I was just looking for a ball park figure.

Re: n00bish IC question
~50º... VERY DEPENDANT ON SIZES ETC. can be far more efficient. What size intercooler do you have in mind?

Re: n00bish IC question
50 degrees?? haha id say its alot more than that.
i used to rip the ---- out of my gsr, and the compressor end of my greddy 26x12 would be screaming hot, and the tb end would be very cool to the touch, id say at least 100 degrees, if not more. |
