Re: turbo vacum lines help?

BOV = vacuum line to the BOV and behind the Throttle.
Wastegate = vac line to the side of the WG, and somewhere where is boost. like behind throttlebody
boost gauge = somewhere where is can read boost. so behind the throttle.
Boostcontroller = i dont know, google it.

Your question was damn right stupid which warrants stupid comments. Vacuum is ------- vacuum, doesn't matter where it comes from. The only thing I'd even be remotely concerned about is running a dedicated line to your WG and BOV... everything else can be Tee'd off of one source... The easiest and most often used way is using the factory vacuum nipples that are on your Intake manifold. you can also run vacuum from your air intake (pre-turbo). You can also run vacuum from a slash cut in your exhaust. Seriously, what was the point of this thread? its simple, read more before you ask dumbass questions, type of ----. People get sick and tired of hand feeding newbs information thats been covered a million times, most of the time in the Stickies. There is a SEARCH button, see if you can find it.

Re: turbo vacum lines help?

bov behind throttle body. waste gate should be off compressor housing, otherwise find a source that is as close to the wastegate as possible.

The intake manifold IS a "vacuum distribution box", you've been had.. but more power to you.. and more money dumped into your shitbox i'm sure

that would be the right way instead of running 4 extra vacuum lines off of 1 source :1. always better to have each with its own vacuum source for more acurate reading.
