That surging is back spool, basically spinning the turbo backwards and slowly killing the turbo.

Do you have the BOV hooked up to a good vac source.

OK NI G GE RS
Even Tial says the synapse BOV works better
Even Synapse says the Tial WG works better

So get the better half and get one of the each that produced the proven power

YES TIAL did admit it. with reguards to longivity being minimal.

O rings that are 2 mil thick giving out quickly constantly being surfaced.

But if your a grag racer your constantly replaceing parts,

yeah it hooks up to the vac source to the intake manifold i t'd it. ( bov + boost gauge INTO the intake manifold vac source. )

im only pushing about 3-4 psi for now till i pay my next ticket and ill will get it tuned and chip my p28 then.

how do i get rid of the surge though

set your bov to soft. the point of a bov is to let all the air out of the charge pipes so you dont get compressor surge. now if you set your bov to hard to where it wont open fast/all the way you will get the compressor surge

Notice what he said? I'd bank on it being a bum BOV.

yeah thats what im thinkin. its one of the generic types or type r bov's. maybe thats why. i dont wanna set it to soft cause im getting a big boost leak.
i set it to soft and my homie beat me in his 07 si which i used to beat him when i was all bolt ons.

Re: my turbo is surging!!!???

well i just meant why dont you just set it softer until your turbo doesnt surge and try to find medium. ,aybe by trial and error you can find a spot where it is hard enough to not leak and soft enough to open all the way. that doesnt work then buy a new bov
