I got my parts in.. Ill list everything i have going in the setup and then ill show pics of most of it.. More pics to come.. how thick is the tubing on that manifold? is it pretty heavy? interesting, they put bolts through that brace for a support to the block, i suggest you utilize them ;) looks like it will be a nice set up.

Im gonna fab up a support like slammedsol and bolt it to the block...
It should be pretty quick (i hope) The tubing is actually pretty thick let me see if i got a better pic.. EDIT: no better pics right now.. Im going to bed shortly will take more tomorrow.. |

how does a downpipe attach to that T28 housing? does it just clamp on?

i guess that setup is meant to use the vband downpipe flange? Those setups are pretty sick.

I bought a few things of ebay.. Some things off of here. And, everything i bought is new.. All parts added up in the 1000+ range..
And the obx mani will be just fine supported, the material is better than ssac and the welds are better. Thanks for the compliments EDIT: also im gonna weld a 3" downpipe flange to the turbo. |

The exhaust is just piped right up on that style and a good exhaust clamp is used I believe.

you fabricate your dp off the vband flange, and use the vband clamp to connect it to the turbo. very clean looking and easy to work with.

when you mean fabricate? I dont see how those clamps work.. How do the flanges stay on? Do i weld one flange to my exhaust housing and one on the downpipe? And then tighten the flange together?

damn u guys need to get out there...hahaha u dont even know wtf a v-band clamp is...nice setup...dont have much experience with that manifold...but heard good things about people that braced it to the block
