Hi
i'm putting together a kit for my d15b7 dx hatch,

currently i have this so far..
14b,
hf mani + adapter plate
2.5" downpipe
3rd gen rx7 intercooler
2g dsm bov
and i'm going to get the SMC+ for fuel management,
i'm planning 7-8psi

Now the rx7 intercooler is kind of just temporary,
so I want to use the CHEAPEST charge piping POSSIBLE.
if you could give me some input on that thatd be great.

also, the guy who had this turbo previously said that he was overheating when he tried to run water lines to it, so I think he ended up just not sending it water?
Not sure, but anyways, I wanted to know what you guys think of that? would it be safe for me to do the same, or is there a safe way to run water without overheating my engine.

and would you say the smc+ with some bigger injectors would be safe for 8psi? on my motor?

the setup sounds good. I was gonna go with the smc route, but i found a s-afc for a good deal and use that instead. As for water coolant lines, i didn't bother. But I always turbo timed my car everytime after long drives. See id your local exhaust shop charges for custom bent ic pipes. I got a good deal for 50 bucks for all my pipes. Oh yeah even welded to 3 pieces.

 

Regarding your wanting to use the cheapest charge piping possible, i believe you can use radiator hose and it works just fine? Someone correct me if im wrong, im curious on this too.
