how many curbs do you think that intercooler will kiss?

other than that, it looks pretty good!

fastcrx 09-14-2005 06:53 PM

Re: My Turbo Project HMT Style *(PICS)* 56K GO AWAY

i dont see any other way than cutting the hell outta the rad supports to tucket it any higher

sohcpwr 09-14-2005 09:09 PM

Re: My Turbo Project HMT Style *(PICS)* 56K GO AWAY

i would have tried to get that charge pipe to the intercooler a little further away from the exhaust manifold, but your ---- does look good. lot of name brand ---- for hmt ;) seems like a boosted honda pops up everyday now..

Re: My Turbo Project HMT Style *(PICS)* 56K GO AWAY

Nice!I like the charge pipes they look really good.Clean car wish I owned something in that nice of shape.Do you still have the bumber suport in there?I have a intercooler about the same size and it tucks up nicely without the support there.I like how the HMT setups are getting cleaner and cleaner looking.

same size intercooler tucked away, lots of hacking at the rad. support and steel bumper to do it, but thats just weight reduction... :P

fastcrx 09-15-2005 03:00 PM

Re: My Turbo Project HMT Style *(PICS)* 56K GO AWAY

Crap I actually kinda like the way they look. Looks very clean. Kinda reminds me of those black housing, 1 piece EG headlights (i dunno who makes em). ^-^

I'm liking it. Hope to have mine done soon. But trying to decide if I want to stay d16a6, d16a w y7 head. or full y7 swap. Have the turbo and hf manifold. Now the party begins for all the other parts. I'm in no hurry, want to get it done right. Hurry and post times, or dyno #'s O0

Very nice setup. Take off those headlights and get us some times haha. What kind of times are you expecting to get?

Re: My Turbo Project HMT Style *(PICS)* 56K GO AWAY

the car looks great and the setup does too. Why does everyone always have to find something negative about peoples projects? So what if you eat curbs everytime you park. I'm sure that after about one or two time you do it you will never do it again. Overall I give it a two thumbs up, I would look twice if I saw it on the road. And the lights don't look that bad. :)
