Hey i just rebuilt my t3 and its not on my car but i was fuckn around with it and put the air nozzle up to it and made the turbo spin it was tight, but im stupid and so i put just a lil oil in the inlet and the bitch barely spins now WTF did i do i was just being dumb...
anyways is it ok to use or am i a retard and screw sumthin up?

Turbos wherent designed to spin with a little oil.

what does barely spin mean, oil shouldnt prevent it from spinning... My turbo burns plenty of oil

tighten ur housing until it spins freely
tighten eachbolt testing for spinage :P

did you do the sand paper to the journal bearings trick and oiled them afterwards before assymbly?

I think what you're saying is that with the air compressor it used to spin but now barely spins. I suspect your rebuild kit has tightened the clearances and it's a little tighter now.

when my turbo was brand new when i spun it with my fingers it would only make about 1.5 360* turns. unless it feels locked up i wouldnt worry to much.
