My Turbo D16Z6 - Reppin NE
 

It's a 1994 D16Z6. I finished building the engine a few weeks ago. I have no dyno numbers yet. I've been having distributor problems (code 9) and I 've just installed a new distributor. I don't know if the problem has been fixed. This is the first time I've built an engine by myself. I was happy when it started on the first attempt. The pictures were taken today.

Once the engine has been broken in, I'll get it re-tuned at 15-20 psi boost ;).

I had to do a double take on that manifold. I made a couple of those y7 t3 flanged manifolds and sold them on ebay. Looks nice.

I forgot to add, I have a 3 bar map sensor (thanks to Craig @ Tuner Toys) that I will be installing along with the upgrades (exhaust, manifold, etc). I'll be doing the upgrades after I've sorted out the bug I have with the distributor.

Looks good.Car is pretty clean too.You should maybe hit the valve cover and charge pipes with some paint but not like that is really important.Looks like a pretty solid setup and Id imagine it will make some nice numbers. :y

I've always thought about painting the valve cover, so one of these days I'll do it. I plan to boost it to 20 psi so hopefully I'll get some good numbers 8).

Sleeperish as all hell Stan. I'm interested in seeing what kind of power it's going to put down at those boost levels. Nice build buddy :)

Thanks Trance. I am also going to add some black mesh at the front to hide the intercooler and the pipes. I'm hoping to make some good numbers. If needs be, I'll turn up the boost even more ... maybe 25 psi :y.

The wheels are 16" KTP Sport Alloy with Toyo Proxes4 tires.

Setup looks nice, $100 used manifold would be your best bang for the buck upgrade now
