I go in for my tune tomorrow at a local shop called RTC, and as soon as time permits I will take it to the track. I'm in ROTC and the national guard, and am graduating in a few weeks, so im busy quite often. I'm friends with skinnye, and he told me not to mention him as he blew up his turbo cb7, however, my brother and I did the turbo install, so he was not involved. Thanks for looking and I'll get some porn post haste.

looking good mike, I was invovled in one thing on it though, fixing it for you when it would'nt start because of how fouled your plugs were when you were ready to buy a $150 dizzy. (pwned O0 )

im a philosopher, not a mechanic!
in my defense the plugs had been replaced about 3 weeks prior and everything was pointing towards a dizzy problem.

Been awhile since I've seen you post.

How bright are those yellow JDM headlights? I wanted to snatch up some bulbs, but I want them to be bright and definitly noticably yellow.

well, the headlights are just oem but with a diy blackhousing. the bulbs work really well, although in lexington i rarely get to use them on bright. The bright bulbs made to fit in the dim housing however has been a great improvement over stock.

UH OH!

Yes I must agree Daddy likeeeee. Looks like my CD5s older cb7 brother Same color outside and in (mines gray too... LOL)..

Smoking the ---- out of people in a 4dr accord isa a priceless experience... Especially douchebags in mustangs corvettes and m3s and ----.HAHAHA

Like to see more pics, and interested in the numbers you lay down.. LONG LIVE THE F!!!!!! LOOOOVED mine, Im sure you ALREADY LOVE THAT ----....just get it tuned... now. The only thing i can suggest (if you havent already) is that you put ARP studs in it and youre good to go for 15+ psi... I had no really notable problems at 15 psi on a t3/04e 57 trim. Although between repetetive 4-5 gear pulls, I did experience the car pushing coolant (lifting) unbtill i got a set of H23 headstuds in it-they work in all the accord fs.... Just fyi if ya didnt know man!!

more vids...

Top shelf man, nice work.

thanks for the compliments ladies and germs.
Here is a summary of the tune and todays events.
So, after much waiting and wanting to be able to really drive my car like it deserves to be driven, i got my tune done today at RTC. We encountered some issues of high boost(16 psi) which ended up being caused by the air intake tube choking the vacuum line that goes to the wastegate actuator and in essence being a boost controller by choking the line. That was straightened out, a 2 bar map sensor was installed, and tuning was done.
A/F is pretty safe, and never really drops below about 11.4, so it could still be leaned out a little and some more power could be squeezed out.
Attachment 27703
12 psi at about 5400 which drops down to about 11 psi at 6400 rpm with the rev limiter set at 7000 rpms.
This was done on a dynodynamics dyno which reads about 13% lower than a dynojet, so the estimated sae corrected numbers are 244 hp@6000 rpms and 239 ft/lb tq@5300 rpms. The dyno itself read a max of 216 hp and 207 tq as well, but as corrected, it is the 244/239(i like the bigger numbers)

here is a video of one pull(it was loud as hades in there) which was at 209.1 hp, so it was not the final pull, but you get the idea.

overall, im pretty happy with the numbers and as soon as i get a set of 15's and slicks, ill take it to the track and beat on it. Until then, ill get some in car videos as time dictates that being possible.
questions, comments, smart remarks?
