Default My setup if all going good

Hi there, I think I never talk about my setup. At least I never started a thread about it. I'm not sure on the block I will use, I have a b18 for now, but don't want to use it (I want to use my car at the same time that I build). So I don't know if I'll use a b18 or a b20. For the rest:

-b18 head;
-crower turbo cam
-crower dual spring and retainer
-ss valve
-port and polish
- JG adjustable cam gear
-eagle connecting rod
-forged piston (didnt buy yet, don't know diameter of cr) 81.5mm and ~9:1 cr
-arp head stud (I search for them if you have a deal, pm me!) Got them
-Precision turbo .60 .63
-Tial 38mm wastegate
-HKS style bov
-ebay intercooler and piping
-miniram manifold
-2.5" all the way exaust (maybe I'll buy a 3" one, not sure yet)
-lc-1 wideband Fucked up
-ebay stainless oil line
-6 pucks ACT clutch and pressure plate
-Skunk2 intake (will be ported as well)
-tuning with TurboEdit and ostrish (PR4 ECU chipped by me)
-450cc injectors (for now)

On the car:

-Neuhspeed coilspring with KYB GR-2 shocks
-15" GSR blade wheel with 195-55-r15 Nankang tire (Japanese brand, hold pretty well )
-Polyeurethane suspension bushing
-Steel Inovative engine mount
-For now, LS stock tranny...

I don't know if I miss something, I'll had picture when I have them. This is not the writeup for the "writeup contest" since I don't had pic of what I'm doing. I'll make a new thread when I begin to build it.

Let me know what you think les mongoles! Ciao.

I'm a bit drunk, I'll check what I wrote tomorrow...

UPDATE 5/08:

-Ross forged piston from doug684 81.5mm bore
-Port and polish almost done, picture soon

Near future:

-My LC1 wideband is fucked up so I'm going to buy a LM-1 from Xenocron. (I'm waiting for the CAN$ to go up a bit to reduce my lost)
-Buy a new b18 block and bring it to the machine shop

I've updated a few things in the first part, but nothing very important! I will make the down pipe this week end since I have to go to my parent's house to work on my car. (------- apartment )

By the way, what the deal with b20? Are they all cracking or some of the b20 are ok for boost?

If I choose the b20, which model do I need to go with?

suposedly the b20's crack for anything above 10psi. maybe a blockguard would help.

If they crack after 10psi, it's sure I don't get it. I'm planning for much more

If I get the rest of my pieces fast I should start in 2 weeks. Damn, I think of this build all the day and now I begin to dream about it

B20 = siamesed sleeves that don't get adequately cooled at the top where they are conjoined, or rather don't get evenly cooled, which is where it's hottest and it needs the most cooling.

It's ------- stickied for god sake.

Besides what would you -----wits do with that extra 1/5th of a liter?

Bore it out if you're so desperate for displacement.

This what Chris the mod had to say about the B20;

Stock 100 percent bottom end. Tuned by Harv's aka the og honda tuner so that has alot to do with it. Motor broke with a 50 shot.

This post is why I thought about getting b20 instead of b18...

I will have to do it anyway on these old b18 motor... I forgot about that info on heat at the top of sleeve that made them blow. Thanks for the infos.
