I've been running the same type of filter but I removed that cover around the filter and exposed the screen mesh. Seems to flow pretty good, though it is small.

are you on any of the accord boards aka www.accordtuner.com or www.cb7tuner.com? we have a few boosted F22s now and would love to have you along for the ride. right now were working on getting a perfect uberdata map for a boosted F22...one of the guys has one but he wants to do a little more WOT tunning before he releases it.

AIM = ocean of awesum

As have I. I wonder if there is any truth to that.

They seem good, HKS makes one, but expsensive as hell, but I like K&N cuz they are oil coated and wont let water in, but I dont know about FI, so I'm just givin you my 2 cents... ;)

Re:My orange acclipse

ur running rich because ur settings on the afc... turn all ur settings down to -30 and it should be fine... julio used the same injectors with the same afc and had them all the way down. it seemed to run fine. try that

Re:My orange acclipse

the reason why its so dirty is because of the anti-rust job i did to protect the car in storage , i live in quebec and the winter are hard here :P

well anyway ... today i found out the white smoke coming out of my exhaust was not gas but oil ... empty oil ... nearly borked my motor lol.

i was using syntethic 5w30 .. can i use normal one because its geting expensive

does anyone have any place cheap to rebuild the seal or i sould go with a t3 replacement parts like c.c.a. offer ? ( 175 usd for the whole center piece balanced)

Re:My orange acclipse

is there a reason your charge pipe is bolted to your exhaust manifold? :-\

myrmex 10-02-2004 12:10 AM

Re:My orange acclipse

everyone tell me this ;) but no it does not transfer enough heat to alter the air temp. i drove the car for 15 minute and i could still touch the pipe without getting burnt , didn't try to touch the bracket tough ;)

turboDA6 10-03-2004 01:42 PM

Re:My orange acclipse

try driving for 15 mins boosting... my ---- heats up even after like 5 mins of boosting... thats why we do use intercoolers... even if it wasn't touching its gonna heat up... that is why people call it a "hot pipe" but yah that bolt thing is gonna cause more heat
