My "O" Meter Died I think
1 week ago I received my LC-1 / "O" Meter combo. Got it all wired up the right way the first time. Powered it up and everything works great. Spent 30min with the "O" Meters settings and reprogramming my LC-1. I shut the key off and powered it back up and all the "O" Meter did was display "1.0" and then go off, 15sec later it flashed the AFR reading and went back off, so now it just give me a quick flash of display every 15sec or so and then goes back off. I have a good ground a solid 12V and a good analog signal from the LC-1. Logworks shows the LC-1 working just fine but i get nothing from the "O" Meter. So whats going on? I plan to bench test the O-Meter tomorrow to see if can it least get the display to stay on.
Maybe I should have just got the NGK/AFX..... <--its a joke for those who cant understand sarcasm.

Craig Moates works a day job, then goes directly to the dyno until 9-12 most nights, and has handed his personal cell number out to 1,001 people I know so he can offer tech support all hours of the day to anybody who wants to talk to the man himself. You aren't aware he's made quite the name for himself, and that it's built on Quality and Service? If there is a problem with all O-meters, it will be fixed. If there is a problem with only your O-meter, it will be fixed.
I vote you go hang yourself. You should double check your own wiring, like you said, and then contact the people who sold you the merchandise, before making smartassed remarks.

Re: My "O" Meter Died I think
I have contacted those who sold me the equipment, I have also posted on Moates forum and emailed them directly. I posted it here seeing if anyone had any advise. And that smartass remark was a sarcastic remark....
My wiring was triple checked and as stated it worked fine for 30min or so, and voltages to the tip of the plug that goes into the O-Meter were verified. I understand he has made quite a name for himself and in NO WAY implied that I though this item was crappy or bad quality. So I am unsure who pissed in your ------- cheerios today.

Re: My "O" Meter Died I think
Well Craig emailed me back stated he believes I was given an early model and that the new ones have a modification to prevent this exact issue. Great guy and killer service. Should have my new one soon.
