My List.
310cc injectors
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump Custom Mani 2.5" Piping - covered FMIC ( Tyrus ) Apexi S-AFC Some type of BOV Waste gate - eGay Autometer Gauges ( boost, AF, oil temp. ) Maybe some new low comp pistons. I just started a new job, so this is what im hoping to have by time next spring comes along with a 92 Hatch. I'm planning on boosting the engine thats already in the Civ, cause a swap is too costly for me. What turbo would you guys recommend to use ? I'd like to push 4 to 9 psi for starters. If I have missed anything important fill me in and ill make sure I have it added too the list. Thanks, Travis *** UPDATED *** |
Re:My List.
good start dude.
You forgot all the misc. stuff like oil/water lines, fittings, etc. Also you forgot the BOV, downpipe, and wastegate (if externally wastegated). Boost, A/F, and EGT gauges are handy to keep an eye out on your motor, and 2.5" exhaust piping and a high flow cat or straiht pipe will round things out nicely. |
Re:My List.
im un sure of what type of BOV i want to use. All the piping is covered cause a kid i work with, his dad works in a machine shop, so they have all types of pipe bending goodies.

Re:My List.
well it basically comes down to how it sounds, right?
For me, I'm gonna get the 1G BOV at first then upgrade to an HKS or Greddy unit. If you wanna d/l some sounds go to www.blowoffvalves.com and check out the sound clips and videos. Keep in mind that a lot of those cars are pushing a lot of boost so they BOV might sound different on a civic boosting 6-10 psi. |
Re:My List.
sound clips dont work dude.

Re:My List.
That sounds like the Greddy Type S...could be the HKS SSQ though.
That's a LOT of boost. Yours won't sound like that. :( |
