I didnt have time to polish the chambers and get a valve job done, that'll be the next time i tear my engine apart. Definately noticed an improvement though. The 60/63 is getting 5psi now by 3000, full boost by 3500. At the moment im putting a y8 intake and a b16 throttlebody on, and an adjustable cam gear. After i get my slicks for my 21st birthday (march 18th bitches :6) Ill be hitting the track, trying to run a 12.1

Looks good how much do you think you actually made it bigger? The rest of your work was worthless if you just scratched up the surface ... isnt that the point to the port and polish? to polish it so it flows smoothly? I could see the porting helping.. but scratching up everything else just seems like it would hurt flow. Pull that ---- back off and polish that bitch ;D

Well if he said he noticed a difference, I would imagine that the work was not worthless, because it served a point :D

And I'll be 19 on the 12th :D

Sorry but. You cant feel 5 hp. maybe 20-25. i mean a dyno can barely detect 5hp. and without a polish job i dont know how you can detect that. Just my opinion.. maybe your a professional or made those ports like an inch bigger. :P

actually retard he said 5psi not horsepower, lol

nice job with the port job, i don't really have the time or patience to try to do that myself, ( which sucks because i still haven't got my head back from the machine shop yet)

looks good man :)

actually you only want to polish the exhaust side, so carbon doesn't build up in the ports.. the intake side your suppose to sand to around 80 grit you do this so that it has better atomization of the fuel and air.. you do not want to polish the intake side

actually when you have 20psi of pressure in the intake ports, that does a pretty good job of mixing the air and fuel :1 The ports are very shiny, not scratched at all, babys ass smooth. the pics were taken with a weak digi cam and no light. anyway, well find out soon enough just how much it helped. full boost before was around 4500
