Re: my d16a6 build
76mm pistons HAHAHAHA ;D Go with a H22A and get 90mm YEAH THATS 14mm more bore and can handle more than your mom with 5 fingers and a extra thumb. OK besides the B/S drama Cool that your doing it right, whats the compression ratio of the slugs, and what rods. PEACE AND LOVE FOR HONDA's

Re: my d16a6 build
Looks like a solid build.
I'm waiting for some of the 75.5mm vitaras myself. Building an engine isn't really rocket science, and if you take your time and follow directions well, it will turn out nice. I built the engine that's in my car, it was my first, and it's running strong as hell after over a year of boost. Still has perfect compression, doesn't burn a drop of oil, and runs perfectly. As long as you pay attention to detail and take the time to measure everything out, that's all there really is to it. Good luck!! |
Re: my d16a6 build
76 mm seems to big of a bore on d sleeves

On the other hand, your build looks good. Hope everything turns out great! |
Re: my d16a6 build
boring out an already thin d series sleeve too much is no good for high boost, which is what you need with super low compression pistons. I think the thinner sleeves run hotter as well

Re: my d16a6 build
Your build looks good so far, is there any reason you didnt get the 75.5mm Vitaras instead of the 76mm? (not to say that there is a problem with the 76mm)
