My car rips!!! afc hack

Hey everyone yesterday I did the best thing you can do to my setup, ditched the fmu and went with afc hack. Let me tell you it makes a world of dif. for those who dont know.
Right now im pushing 10 psi on my d16z6 with the little ihi rhb5 turbo. It pulls pretty hard but the awsome thing is how smooth its running and how theres no pinging detonation or anything. I did retard the timing 3 deg though. Just wanted everyone to know my experiences. Didnt have a car for like a week though scince someone sold me two injectors that didnt work. ---- FMU's!

Sean,
I dont know how you plan to look at it but if you find anything I'm open to new suggestions. I really cant afford an emanage and I hate my damn fmu.

Anyways I need to look into the hack more and see if i could use it. I think your map sensors read pos pressure where ours wont and thats part of why yorus works. Besides it advances timing which you can control with a BTM or just turning your distributor... I cant, its distributorless igntion :(

honda map doesn't read positive pressure. the AFC tricks it so it thinks it's still reading vacume

Re:My car rips!!! afc hack

stock honda MAPs read up to 11.3 psi as i do recall.

Congrats on your new found kick in the pants for power man

It does read at about to 11 psi if you trick it....like with the AFC hack or with a chipped ECU that's it. A chipped ecu scales the tables down.

Not sure exactly what you are trying to say. The map sensor will read positive pressure, regardless. The problem is that the ecu won't. If the gm won't even measure positive pressure, that would pose an entirely different problem already. But I can't see why it wouldn't :-\ You could always use a different map sensor, right? Bah. I have the hack and now I want to chip my ECU. I think that is the way to go. Wish I was obd1 >:(

Yep that one will, and I beleive thats the one that comes with the GM supercharger kit. Regarless I dont think it would work on my system without the ecu being reflashed to understand it. Apparantly I cannot do the reflash because my car is a 96 instead of an 00+
