my almost finished project. *(56k you're gonna hate life)*
ok i'm almost finished with my hmt project and i figured i'd give you guys a peek before i finsihed it up completly.
it's a 96 dodge neon with the 2.0l sohc motor
about 95% of its life will be at the dragstip so i'm not overly concerned with drievability.
specs are as follows:
t3/t4 turbo .48 exhaust .60 compressor .50trim
TTi log style turbo manifold, ceramic coated.
55mm bored throttle body
johnny race car intercooler
spec stage 3 clutch
custom oil lines
turbo xs rfl bov
cartech rrfpr
walbro 255lph fuel pump
billet anodized fuel rail
ford motorsports 30lb injectors
auto meter pro comp boost gauge
auto meter sport comp tachometer
custom solid motor mounts
solid rear bobble strut
solid shifter bushings
phantom grip lsd
msd 9mm plug wires
as you can tell there are a few more things i need to buy to get it going, most noteable is the charge piping. and i'm sure there are a few things i've left out.
anyway here are the pictures:
here is what it looked like when i first started
should this scare me?
anyway just wanted to thank everyone for the info that has been put forth on this forum, very helpful and i hope to have plenty more pictures when it's up and running. let me know whatcha think so far.....

Looks good so far. Thats gonna make some serious torque. Good to see another boosted domestic here.
Intake mani looks fine. Just long runners for lowend/midrange. Kinda like a reverse CRV 'giraffe' manifold.

its not too far away from a honda layout, only honda would make theirs of aluminum and run a much much bigger plenum at the top (er, bottom) of the manifold near the tb.
