Well with what ever Engine management you use if someone hasent mentioned it yet, please use an insurance kit, or known as Methanol injection goto snow performance, Cools the IATs to about 25degrees on a 80d day depending and it bumps octane from premium to 108 to 118 depending on what mixture your using resulting in utelizing more timing and gets rid of carbon build up inside the engine with the little bit of water it sprays with meth. all around wise investment, got a sleeper 93honda and 83grand prix. happy boosting!

 

I would only do the meth injection, if atleast my bottom end was built.

I'm quite happy with the numbers, however I need to get a 2-step launch controller cause from a dead stop its wack..but once its rolling its sick fast. i need to get myself off my *** and get some footage.

 

i would actually do it because its not built, playing with that much timing and cast internals is risky are you at least hosing those pistons with fuel i'd have an eye on the knock gauge 24/7. but hey if it isnt breakin up in boost and goin like hell thats all that counts!

 

i'm actually tuned with 16* of max timing, which is perfectly safe. the amount of boost im pushing isnt a dangerous level, and i dont womp on it at every light. my tune itself is very rich, from what i can see.. im certainly not getting those MPG's .. lol I'll probably shoot for more boost and do the meth injection later on.. right now im trying to get ahold of a decent 2 step launch controller.. not being able to launch at the track is wack. gotta thank everyone here at HMT for all the support!

yea thats looks like a pretty conservative tune, are you still running the stock ignition or like msd, mallory etc.? launch controll add-on for msd is only like 85 bucks i think then a bunch of diff. pills. If you were to do a nice Engine Management it would probably have that feature just check it on, and set then go play.

 

I thought i saw you this weekend but then saw in this thread your from Cali. There was a turbo mustang almost identical to yours at a track in MD. I dont know what it ran though.

 

im running the stock coil-on-plug ignition.. im looking into the MSD Mod6 .. im planning to run the car at the 1/4 soon.

 

yea i'm not really sure what they have for EM on that new of a car I use EEC editor for most of the older fords around this area Fox bodies, svo etc. Definetly post your time slips cant wait to see it.

 

car is running great, going to get a new tune for more boost.
