boost on my 14b stock waste gate never passed 9 psi

put it at 20 psi

Re: my 14b setup questions

Stock actuator should be around 8psi, so yes, you can turn it below 12psi.

30psi of oil pressure is just fine. That's about what the turbo would see in use on a stock DSM.

unless you already have that ---- matt dont bother. Is the car obd1? For about the cost of that ---- (plus a check vlave or a missing link) you can chip your ecu and get some 450s

Re: my 14b setup questions

You can thread the wastegate actuator arm and coupler it back together with a threaded coupler (essentially make the wastegate arm longer ) to decrease the boost even further. A pump and fmu would probably work for that much boost. I would'nt run it without throwing a wideband on it. I'm running a chipped ecu on my prelude and have had zero problems. Car runs like a champ. There's my testimonial. I find it difficult to find a bad review on chipped ecu's. Unless its some noob that can't figure out how to burn a chip or something.

Re: my 14b setup questions

I would retard your base timing a couple of degrees if you go that route. Or get an msd boost/ignition controller.
