Default MP70 vband fitment issues

vband isnt sealing with the master power t70, the pics tell the storry
anyone else ever get this problem with the MP70 and what could be done
there are a few options but i'd like to keep it clean looking, instead of clamping to the turbo i could extend with some pipe and use the 2 vband flanges, i was also thinking maybe to trim the vband itself on the one side so that it would sit in the groove of the turbo to seal up

thanks for the help in advance

oh and would/does it matter that the flange is 1.5mm larger all around?

Turbo vbands are generally different from regular 3" or 2.5", etc vbands.

Give me some dimensions like OD and ID. I see if the precision turbo ones are similar.

On the precision turbos that we use, a standard 3" vband is way to big. A 2.5" is closer to fitting, but then you can't use a 3" on the outlet.

Like I said, there are special Vbands for use with turbos that allow the right size piping.

2.5" vband clamp won't fit will it? the outlet is closer to 3" i dont think you would be able to even put the vband on properly
.
if youve got any leads on where i can get these special vbands let me know

Okay I measured a precision turbo 3" v-band and the OD was 92mm, exactly like yours.

The ID is about 2.875, slightly smaller than 3" tubing. The tubing slips over a small lip on these v-bands.

I'll try to get a pic.

NO I mean the tubing fits OVER the vband.

i just need to know if i trim the inside of the vband or do i extend the housing with straight pipe and use 2 flanges instead of clamping to the turbo housing
