Default Mounting turbo upside down YAY OR NAY?

Basically what I plan to do is mount my turbo off the top of a log manifold so its between the mani and the hood, it should fit, I took some measurements today, I need room for my AC condenser as it will be the cooling source for my air water cooler and will have Water going through it, therefore I cant fit my turbo the proper way, does it make a difference which side the oil enters the turbo and which side it exits? I'm assuming no and that my idea would be a go ahead, just a bit more custom work and a custom downpipe would have to be made.

The car is a 92 civic and the turbo is a T3

that would be fine. that has been done. just rotate the center section so the oil inlet is on top.

it will be no different than mounting it 'hanging' from the manifold just as long as you rotate the center section so that you still have the oil feed/inlet on top and the return/outlet facing straight down. tell whoever said that on ht to go kill himself.

Thanks guys, yeah the turbo center section will be parallel with the block with the oil feed on top, the turbo has to be tilted 35dgrees away from the block, the hood will be lifted by washers in the back to allow for venting, My theory is that it will run much cooler this wayl, too bad i'm limited to what manifold I can use cuz i'd go with an equal length if I could, but log will do.
