https://www.homemadeturbo.com/tech_p...s/HF_manifold/ if ported properly they are supposed to flow as well as a log manifold, some say better. |
Re: more flow from HF mani?
noob question but how do u port and polish a manifold ? i have an std mani and i hear they are a lil thicker then the hf so you can port and polish it more but can anybody give me some info on how to do it?
thanks |
Re: more flow from HF mani?
i use an air compressor and die grinder.
put the exhaust gasket up to the manifold and trace the ports. get a face shield or safety goggles/glasses and go to work. don't get discouraged because it takes some time to finish. |
Re: more flow from HF mani?
it should be really easy to port because its cast iron. just dont take too much off.

Re: more flow from HF mani?
or bring it to a machine shop and they can port for you
