mixing mitsu and garret turbos

I was wondering if anybody has tried mixing and matching parts from garrett, and mitsubishi turbos. I'm about to attempt a td05- garrett 57 trim hybrid, and was wondering what problems i might run into. I'm using the mitsu tdo5 exhaust side, and chra with a garrett t04e-57 trim wheel, and a machined 17c (cyclone-typhoon) compressor housing. I know this is what the FP frankenstien turbos use, but I was wondering If anybody had any experience.

well i got my 57 trim garrett compressor wheel in the mail today and I've found my first problem. The back of the wheel isn't flat like a 14b wheel, hopefully a 16g backplate will fix that

The 16g isn't flat it is tapered, use the 17c wheel. It's known as the Junior frankenstein 17C. You'll be able to flow 550-570cfm at 1 bar, that is killer. If you want more use the 20g wheel, 605cfm. Mitsu turbo's are so much better than garrets, well at least in my opinion. TD05/6 conversions kick ass...expensive, but kick

i know the 16g isn't flat, that's what i'm saying. I'll have to get a backplate from a 16g to match the tapered garrett wheel I have. a 20g doesn't flow enough for me, I like mitsu turbo's but the garrett compressor wheels are the only thing big enough, and they're more efficient. The forced performance frankenstien turbo's use mitsu everything except compressor wheels. This is what i'm tryin to do.
