Missing Link

Ok...probably again a noob question, but here it goes.

what exactly is missing link?
will i need this for my hmt project?
where exactly does this go?

this is the info i have retrieved about it...

Eliminates MAP sensor related Check Engine lights for turbo/supercharged Honda and Acura cars.

Produces infinitely adjustable boost pressures requiring no adjustment to Missing Link Valve.

Smoothens vacuum to boost transition, eliminating MAP sensor related misfires and hiccups.

Eliminates numerous check valves for a show quality, professional appearance.

Eliminates the costly chance of a destroyed MAP sensor due to boost operation beyond sensor design parameters

Re:Missing Link

I beleiveve it releives pressure that builds up in the manifold.it goes between the map sensor and the throttle body, and you are probably going to need it so that youre computer wont throw a cell.if you go to turbo projects on this site you can see what they look like on one of the cars that run a t25.

Re:Missing Link

It bypasses the boost pressure to the MAP sensor. Chip your ecu and let you MAP sensor be your friend.
