Missing in high rpms

Hi guys,

Long time since i wrote something. Guess the car was running real great so had nothing to write.
Ok so here I have a small problem. Have a missing in above 4500 rpms and then the car picks up.It feels like some fuel related problem but i checked everything and all the settings are still the same. Is there anything specific that i should check??

I checked the following:
1) the missing link filter was changed - no change
2) Fuel is the same 93 octane
3) Fuel pressure still working as first set up using the FMU. So cant be the FMU.
4) Checked my spark plugs they are fine

What do i do guys.

Running only 6psi and was running really smooth till yesterday. Dont know what went wrong and what to do.

PLEASE HELP

what is your timing set to? also, check your dist. rotor and use some sandpaper if there is build up on it.

if you think it is fuel related, get an air/fuel ratio gauge to see if you are leaning out/running rich in certain rpms.

Re:Missing in high rpms

Timing is controlled by the MSD 6BTM.
Distributor rotor was checked last week. it is perfectly fine
Air fuel ratio gauge i already have. It is not leaning out.It is exactly how it used to be till i got this problem. The best part is that I have this missing only at around 4500 to 5000 rpm and then the car runs till red line without any problem.

what are ur plugs gapped to? maybe just a studder in the transition into boost??

Sounds like you could be blowing out spark....I had the same prob, I picked up some colder plugs and gapped them down to .030

my plugs are denso IK20 plugs and i have been using them since the last 2 months without any problem.

Dont think it is the plugs since i got that checked too.

regap your plugs to .28 or .30, 98% sure this is your problem. the boost blows out spark with stock gap, especially the older the plugs get. and by the way, get some ngk's, denso's suck balls.

Guys,
I have the DENZO Iridium plugs. Now can this be regapped too. In that case i just might try that out and let you guys know. OK but how come I havn't been having the problem before. I mean i have been using the same plugs for the last 2 or so months without any problem even at 8.5 psi???????Do they degrade with age or what???
Anyway will try and let you guys know what happens ok.

THX
