hi i am in the process of building a mini me for my 91 hatch dx. My girlfriend wants to turbo it so she can beat v8 mustangs (hopefully) I say go high comp no turbo she says turbo. So my question what would be the best cheap setup for my motor. I have a D15B2 block and a Z6 head. Its in pieces right now because were doing machine work and im putting the right aftermarket parts in. If i have shot peened rods and i will get performance bearings. I dont know what to do about pistons but im having a goal of 8 psi max so she wont destroy the motor i worked so hard on. I was looking at a T25. I dont know the specs as far as oil cooled and water cooled but i want whatever is more relaible. Also should i get an intercooler will a eclipse side mount cut it? Does she need a BOV, waste gate, or turbo timer? Somone give me a good setup. Im trying to get her in the 180 hp range. Thanx for the help

 

Go look around the site..use the "search" button and learn lots! then ask questions after...

 

look at the main page of users rides, check out what they have.. get some ideas. T25 will work, try and use water cooling along with oil cooling.

I think spending all the money into the motor and only running 8psi is a waste, I would have left it stock with that number.

 

HOW MUCH HP WOULD 8 PSI ADD? i USED THE SEARCH BUTTON IT COMES UP WITH POSTS NOT THE ENTIRE THREAD? i dont wanna boost too much its a daily driver but i figured that 8 psi would take it from 145 to 180hp? Is it even worth doing is what im asking?

 

what did you do to get it to 145?
