I put my first mani together with one...looked like ***, but it worked well and it never cracked...warped like a bitch though :P

mig is good for aluminum and SS even mild steel. You just have to buy the appropriate spool and the proper gas mixture and you should be fine.

the one you are talking about is proably a Lincoln "crackerbox".
Yea its a stick/arc welder...Proably one of the best "handyman" stick welders out there.

after i get enough experience w/ it would it be suitable for welding lets say a DP? i'm not even gonna touch the mani..
