Mercedes T3. How to lower boost?

First of all, lets say i know how anoying it is when a n00b asks a question that has been answered a million times, but, look at this wastegate, i got this turbo real cheap and it suits my needs pretty well. So, anyone know stock pressuere, im guessing 8 psi, and how to lower it?

And the Wastegate output is not blocked off in those pics, it diverts the exhaust out the primary outlet from before the exhaust turbine.

TIA

Wow. That's a WG? LOL. If its adjustable just adjust it. I have never seen anything like that before. If it's not adjustable your screwed. 8psi isn't bad. Why lower it?

what size is that turbo?both hot and cold sides.i used a turbo like that, wastegate was set at 9psi but the turbo was small.like 42 hot,36cold.so it worked perfect with my setup.no need to lower the boost.

wow never seen anything like that before... looks like an external type wastegate, but its internal :P

try crackin it open to see if it has a spring in there. maybe try callin up mercedes to see if they have different springs for sale, or if possibly some can be swaped out, outa different type wastegates..

same exact turbo on my car exept a little more "ugly " :P anyway ... you cna pop it up open and change the spring to whatever pression you want to have just like an external wastegate

Found some one who has it, boost is adjustable.

If you remove the sealing ring on the wastegate then you will see a 13mm bolt, remove it.. Then you can turn the bolt under that and adjust the boost.. Raise it up to lower boost and down to raise boost..
