Default McDaniels Rally Charger

Roger McDaniels made a badass setup
377whp with barely any lag.

As far as I can tell the blue curve is with the twincharger. So he makes 354.7whp peak, but he makes a lot more power/torque in the mid range.

Reading what he says again, I am wrong.
The 354whp is with the twin, thats why he says he lost 20 at the top end.

It's still incredible really, so I sent him an email. Think a jrsc + a 14b would suck really bad in the topend on a z6? If it does, it should have a really flat torque curve.

You read it right, I lost about 20 up high and gained about 50 down low. I just got it on the dyno tonight, so there's some more there, especially with some cam tuning, but it works way better than I thought it would; torque delivery is smooth as butter and you can't feel the transition between SC and turbo.

Torque delivery is unbelievable, so much smoother than with just the turbo. It's much easier to control the power. I think the top end hit is from the higher air temps and the circuitous air path. The air temps are higher than with just the turbo, but lower than with a high-boost JRSC setup.

Heh well I think it'll be an unending process. I'll stick with my 14b setup for now, since I've spent so much time and money finding a good turbo and that kind of thing. Then perhaps a jrsc/14b twincharge setup. Then a t3/t4 or something with bigger injectors and the twincharge setup. Sheesh at least I bought a big 8" fmic so that won't need upgrading soon.

Yeah, I'm still tweaking. I think some cam adjustment will really wake it up, gotta go find my adjustable cam gears.

Oh wow I didn't even know it had stock cam gears. Is the motor completely stock?
