Default this may be a moronic question

but hey you gotta start somewhere

I'm new to this, so tell me if this is is stupid idea and if I'm posting in the wrong section ....

I have an older N / A 302 Cleavland and looking to use twin turbo..
the engine will be slightly modified to run on hydrogen if running on gas vapor makes any difference?
has any one here ever turbocharged a naturally aspired engine before and if so please share your wisdom...

cheers in advance

I'm not trying to be an -------, just honest: are you ------- serious?

Run on hydrogen? You won't get ---- for power and the engine probably won't turn over. Furthermore, where do you plan on getting your hydrogen? Or do you plan on plugging up a couple electrodes in water?

Gas is used for a reason.

Nobody has EVER turbocharged a naturally aspirated engine. You gotta start with a boosted engine.

WTF Hydrogen?

If you don't know about turbocharging an NA engine you're going to blow yourself sky high with hydrogen. Actually on second thought do it. That'd be one less moron on this earth.

A local guy is converting his Civic to run on hydrogen. You'll see a lot more of this concept as gasoline starts pushing $9 a gallon, as early as by the end of this month.

I'm not really up to speed on hydrogen for ICE, but IIRC it burns super hot and might be a problem to turbocharge? I quick Google for hydrogen and octane rating would answer that bit.

hey its jd. lol no dude, hydrogen is a bad idea for you. read every sticky you see, change your damn name, and stop asking dumb questions or at least look for the dumb answer before you post.
